KUMAR SUNDARESAN |
Kumar Sundaresan is the Founder and CEO of AppsTelligent. He is a Master Software Architect with close to 30 years of consulting experience in the USA. His core strengths are in Oracle and Big Data Technologies. He was the technical lead in the World's Largest Oracle E-Business Suite implementation, and has corrected books on Oracle by Oracle Press.
Kumar is an inventor and holds multiple fully granted patents in USA, China, Hongkong, Japan, India and multiple patents are pending in Canada, and all countries of Europe, and 152 countries of PCT for his multiple inventions. His recent United States patent is titled Software Algorithm, Method and Procedure With Graphical User Toolsets For Rapid Migration of Data From Relational Data Sources into Yarn and Big Data Platform. This incredibly powerful patented approach has built-in techniques and algorithms to rapidly extract, and migrate data from traditional sources and databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server and Teradata into Hadoop/Big Data.
The patented approach has the ability to reduce a consulting project that would typically take over 9 months to complete within 6 weeks. Kumar is also well known for his extremely strong technical knowledge and skills. Kumar has strong skills in various Big Data related development toolsets as well.
Prior to Big data, he worked on Oracle E-Business Suite for close to 20 years and is a Master of Oracle database and Oracle-based Applications. Kumar executed numerous multi-million dollar projects successfully. He has very strong technical skills and is very well known for his SQL performance tuning skills and Oracle database knowledge. His skills include data warehousing, business intelligence and e-commerce development.
Kumar co-founded a BI company called biztelligent.com in early 2000 and executed many successful Data Warehousing and BI projects as well.
In addition, he founded makeweb4u.com during the dot.com boom and delivered over 300 web and E-commerce projects as well. Prior to that, in 1997, he founded an Oracle ERP consulting company (GKSoft), which crossed USD $1 Million in sales within the first 14 months of inception.
Kumar has played lead technical, architect and project management roles in many large Bigdata and Oracle ERP implementations at Gap, Cerner, Cricket wireless, Precision Dynamics, US Air Force, United Health Group, Prescription Solutions, American Power Conversion Corporation, Garmin, Overstock, ADP, Lantronix, Buy.com, Bigstore.com, Verifone/Hewlett Packard, Fujitsu, Honeywell and more.
Kumar holds a B.Tech from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, and an MS from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. He has been providing consulting services in the US since 1990. He was an inter-IIT Gold Medalist in Table Tennis. He was also a high school Chess champion. He has received numerous awards throughout his very successful academic and professional career.

Gayatri is the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of AppsTelligent. She is a Cloudera Certified Developer for Apache
Hadoop. She is also a Cloudera Certified Specialist for Apache HBase.She is very proficient in Java, C++, Visual C++ and
databases such as Oracle, MySQL and HBase. She also has significant skills and experience in web development and E-commerce related
technologies.
Gayatri, besides being a Certified Hadoop Professional, has also played a significant role as a passionate Big Data Training Specialist, and has thus, trained many professionals on Big Data and its ecosystem of tools and technologies.
She is also an avid Android programmer and has solid understanding of mobile technologies, and has designed, developed and deployed several mobile apps in Google Play Store, and has assisted many others to deploy their mobile apps as well.
Gayatri has been offering her technical talent to many organizations in the US since 1992. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Osmania University. She has worked with TATA Consultancy Services, Oracle Corporation (Formerly Treasury Services Corporation), Filenet Corporation and GKSOFT Corporation.
